Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Cultural Affairs seeks an experienced vendor to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive space plan, including drawings, for its collection storage areas, exhibit galleries and other public facing spaces where collections are featured. Qualified vendor will have extensive knowledge and experience coordinating similar plans in cultural organizations, including experience with environmental controls such as vibration monitoring and mitigation, to determine best and most efficient space plan for collection storage areas, exhibit galleries and other public facing spaces where collections are featured. Vendor will have professional expertise in the areas of collection management and storage, exhibit gallery design and public space utilization and will be able to provide recommended best practices processes, plans and recommendations including recommended supplies, furnishings, shelving and equipment.
