This contract will cover general daily first-class presort letters and flats, specific mailings (first-class presort letters and flats), parcels, standard and non-profit standard mail, and lettershop services for Iowa State University. Delivery speed of mail prepared for automation processing through the Postal Service is very important to our customers. The ability to provide postage commingling service is important, to ensure all mail gets the best rate. This contract will be used mainly by ISU Postal and Parcel Services, ISU’s Printing Services Department, and ISU Admissions Office. Iowa State also has specific standard mail entries for presort mailing. These would normally have postal indicia, with postage to come out of our account at the post office. Mailing quantities may range from several thousand up to approximately 40,000. Normal drop point is Ames post office. Indicate any extra charges for Ames drop versus Des Moines.
