Specifications include, but are not limited to: Diverse Collection of Courses in Core and/or Elective Subjects. ourses/Course Content Respondent is responsible for providing a diverse collection of courses in core and/or elective subject areas, as well as related instructional services as needed. 4.1.1 Core Subject Areas The State is seeking a full range of courses in the core subject areas of English/language arts, math, physical education, health, social studies and science. Courses must be aligned to national standards and the Iowa Core Curriculum. Respondents who specialize in particular core subject areas and cannot provide the full range of courses in the core subject areas, may submit the courses they are capable of providing in their Proposal. 4.1.2 Electives The State is also seeking a wide range of world languages, sciences, social sciences, business, career and technical courses. An example listing of course offerings is included in Exhibit 1. 4.1.3 Course Technical Requirements Courses offered must be compatible with the Instructure Canvas course management system, as well as other major course management systems. 4.1.4 Course Availability The State shall have the option to switch or select different courses throughout the life of the Contract including renewal periods. 4.1.5 One-Time Purchase of Courses The State is interested in the possibility of a one-time purchase(s) of licensing for some courses in perpetuity. Respondent shall explain in their Proposal whether they offer this type of license and provide pricing information in the Cost Proposal.
