Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.2.1Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform guardrail repairs at the following locations (addresses are approximate) as specified: a) 8400 6th Street SW (west side) – complete no later than September 30, 202010 posts, guardrail, end section, and end post were hit then later removed by the City; all need to be replaced and restored to original condition by the Contractor (see Attachment D)b) 5200 Center Point Road NE (east side) – complete no later than October 31, 2020Two (2) existing damaged/dented guardrails shall be removed and replaced by the Contractor (see Attachment E)c) Wright Brothers Blvd SW east of the bridge over I-380 (south side) – complete no later than October 31, 2020Existing dented end section shall be removed, replaced, and brought up to current IDOT standards (BA-205) by the Contractor (see Attachment F)d) 2801 C Street SW (east side) – complete no later than October 31, 2020The terminal approximate 15’ has been destroyed; Contractor shall remove last remaining post and replace post and guardrail to pre-damaged condition (see Attachment G)4.2.2All guardrails, posts, and end sections shall be restored in-kind meeting IDOT specifications. Written notice shall be provided to the Project Manager at least 72 hours in advance of roadway lane closures and stage transitions. Changes to the staging plan must be approved by the Project Manager.4.2.4Traffic Control shall be in accordance with the latest edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), and SUDAS Section 8030 – Temporary Traffic Control. 4.2.5The Contractor shall furnish and install all traffic control devices and maintain them in correct position. Contractor shall promptly clean and replace damaged traffic control devices and patrol work areas daily (at a minimum) to ensure all traffic control devices are properly set, in serviceable condition, and legible.
