Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected Consultant shall provide professional consulting services for miniature golf course design. The Consultant shall provide conceptual designs, preliminary design and cost estimates, and final plans, bid documents and final cost estimates. Consultant shall also be available during the construction project, including attending the pre-bid meeting, reviewing shop drawings and assisting the City with project acceptance and closeout. Once these have been reviewed and approved by the City’s Project Manager, the Consultant shall prepare the construction bid documents. The Consultant shall provide a survey of the project area to include the following as needed: existing park boundary, topography, existing infrastructure and utilities, existing buildings on site, and an inventory of the trees and any significant vegetation. The Consultant shall provide geotechnical investigation as needed. The project shall be designed to meet all applicable 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design, Department of Justice, September 15, 2010. The Consultant shall provide all related services that are inherently associated with completing this project as specified. The Scope of Services shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 4.3.1 Consultant shall have a kick-off meeting with City staff to review the project needs and anticipated results. 4.3.2 Consultant shall perform any research and surveys needed to develop base information for design needed for the project areas. 4.3.3 Consultant shall meet with City staff to gain input and put together 2-3 conceptual designs for staff review and comments before moving on to the preliminary design and cost estimate. 4.3.4 Consultant shall prepare a preliminary design and cost estimate for the project based on input during the conceptual phase of design. The Consultant shall present their findings and solutions to the City for input and approval. Upon final approval of the preliminary design and cost estimate the Consultant shall proceed with final design documents for bid. 4.3.5 The Consultant shall provide the City with copy of 95% final drawings, specifications and a revised cost estimate to allow City staff final review and comment. Once City staff has reviewed the 95% drawings, specifications and revised cost estimates, final comments will be provided to the Consultant. Final plan and specifications shall be completed in a package ready for bid letting.
