The project includes selective site demolition and disposal of some existing structures such as athletic fields, track, football goal posts, field throwing event slabs, curb and gutter, irrigation system and chain link fence enclosures; site development work consisting of excavation and grading for new storm sewer and drainage main piping structures and water distribution, a new football field/soccer pitch, a new 8-lane track, and new shot put, discus, and hammer throwing event slabs with sand pits; new site storm drainage utilities for the new field/pitch and track; new concrete walks and parking areas; construction of new 8-lane asphalt track and D-zones with synthetic surfaces; new long jump, shot put and discus event slabs/pits complete with sand pits and track and field accessories; construction of a new synthetic turf practice football field and soccer pitch complete with field accessories; new chain link fences and gates and track and field enclosures; electrical and communications work for home and visitor sidelines, tracking timing system, play clocks and scoreboard; and other miscellaneous items.
