Specifications include, but are not limited to: a) Sale Prices of Products Prices for products to be sold to the general public shall not exceed reasonable competitive prices. A list of products and prices for said products shall be included with proposal. The product list and pricing shall be approved by the City prior to the start of the contract period. Adjustments to product pricing shall be allowed only with written approval from the Parks and Recreation Director or Parks Superintendent. b) Healthy Menu Offerings Healthy menu selections shall be offered and advertised as such. The variety of healthy offerings and their pricing will be considered in the awarding of this contract. c) Permits/Licenses The concessionaire shall obtain all licenses, permits, and other documents necessary to operate a food and beverage business as required by the laws of the City, State, and Federal government. In the event the Concessionaire violates any law regarding the sale of food and beverages, and as a result has its license suspended or taken away, the City may cancel the Concession Agreement without any notice. d) Machinery and Equipment Concessionaire shall provide and maintain all machines and equipment necessary to operate its business at its sole expense. Structural changes to the building pertaining to equipment must be pre-approved, in writing, by the Parks and Recreation Director and done at Concessionaire’s expense. When said equipment is removed, the building shall be restored to its original condition at Concessionaire’s expense. Storage shall be limited to the concession area and storage room. The Ice machine on site is the property of the City and will be maintained by the City. Equipment such as freezers, cookers, etc. may be stored during the off-season with advanced written permission by the City. Any such equipment must be empty of product, cleaned and sanitized within 7 days of the final event at the end of the season. Any stored equipment by the Concessionaire during the off-season may not use City utilities such as electricity or water. Only equipment used in regular concessions operations by the Concessionaire may be stored at Tuma with permission by the City. Additional equipment or equipment from other parties may not be stored at the concession facility. e) Utilities The City shall provide electricity and water to the concession area for use by the Concessionaire at the sole expense of the City.
