Specifications include, but are not limited to: Mowing Services 3.3.1 Mowing an area of approximately 3.1 acres located immediately adjacent to the visitor center and parking lots up to the levee and south to the bike/walking pathway. The grass shall be maintained at a height according to species and variety. Mowing shall occur every two (2) weeks (or as needed due to varying weather conditions, mulching type blade, clean up of sidewalks and parking lots included.) Grass trimming and steel blade edging around curbing islands, building, downspouts, trees, fences, posts, sidewalk and parking lot cracks shall be done each time area is mowed. (Mowing will occur May 1 ‐ October 1 annually). 3.3.2 Mowing the Roadway ten (10) feet on each side of the road every two (2) weeks. A total of 5,880 linear feet, 235,200 square feet or 5.4 acres. Snow and Ice Removal Services 3.5.1 Snow Plowing shall include snow pushed off roadways (approximately 5,880 linear feet of two lane road) by 12:00 P.M the day after the snow stops falling or when two (2) inches of accumulation is received. Service shall be bid per Occurrence. 3.5.2 Snow removal for parking surfaces (parking lot approximately 85 stalls), driveways, by 12:00 P.M the day after the snow stops falling or when two (2) inches of accumulation is received. Service shall be bid per Occurrence. 3.5.3 Agency shall be responsible for snow removal of sidewalks and entryways. 3.5.5 Application of Rock Salt/Sand mix on roadways, parking lots, and driveways. Service shall occur only upon request of facility manager.
