Consultant Response to RFQ 2.1 Consultant shall provide its approach to the selection of qualified candidates to present to the City for review and possible interview. 2.2 Consultant shall clearly identify for which executive search they are providing qualifications. If qualifications are provided for both executive searches, Consultant shall prepare a cover page for each search and all documents related to that search shall be included behind the cover page. Consultant may combine both search responses into one pdf. 2.3 Outline the process and a detailed timeline for the search process. Search process shall include recruitment of potential candidates, interviews and providing input into negotiations with the selected candidate. 2.4 The City’s timeline is to have a candidate hired by May 1, 2026 for the Utilities Director and July 1, 2026 for the Fire Chief. 2.5 Provide the resume, background and qualifications of the primary consultant who will be working on the project(s). 2.6 Provide references and a list of similar searches conducted in the last 5 years. For the Fire Chief, all references must be related to the search for a Fire Chief. 2.7 Provide any fees associated with this search. Fees can be on a firm fixed all-inclusive price basis to conduct the search, or on a time and material basis, or percentage of annual salary. If a time and material basis is proposed, Consultant must provide a guaranteed not-to-exceed amount for the search. 2.8 City Organization: Both positions will report to the City Manager. 2.9 Job description included in the Attachment section. Salary grade for both positions is E3, range is $147,763.20 - $206,876.80.
