Specifications include, but are not limited to: snow and ice removal including plowing, shoveling, hauling and deicing related services. An inch of snow accumulation shall be used as the standard amount of the snow removal process for all facilities, surface lots and sidewalks. Application amount and frequency will depend on current and forecast temperatures, and precipitation. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, and insurance required to complete the work detailed in these specifications, or reasonably therein, to the satisfaction of the Transportation Services Operations Supervisor (TSOS) or Director of Transportation Services (DTS). During the completion of duties specified herein, any contact with the general public shall be conducted courteously. Questions from the public should be directed to the Transportation Services Department. Scheduling of snow and ice removal shall be done in order not to interfere with transit or parking activities and should generally be conducted in the early morning or evening hours. a. Snow and ice removal services will include weekend and after hours’ events. b. Contractor to perform first pass on bus staging area of the Jule Intermodal (950 Elm Street) by 6:00am, Monday through Sunday including state and federal holidays. c. Contractor will furnish the TSOS with a name and telephone number to be used as a 24-hour contact person. Sufficient personnel shall be available during the storm as needed and immediately after the storm during subsequent cleanup required to maintain the area. d. If service is required after 6:00am due to snowfall or freezing rain conditions, Contractor must provide service within 2 hours after notification from the TSOS. All areas to be maintained and completely cleared of snow/ice. Service will include the spread of snowmelt chemicals (approved by the City
