Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Iowa (hereafter, The University/University) located in Iowa City, Iowa, desires to obtain written proposals from qualified Suppliers to provide Snow removal for Macbride Nature Recreation Area. Routes such as roads, parking lots, sidewalks, etc. will need to be serviced. Supplier shall also propose a salt/sand mixture, pretreatment, and/or liquid brine mixture that may be requested by the University and used "as needed” to ensure safe travels at the MRNA. The University is requesting Supplier provide both product and the services. Hours of operation for the MRNA are 9:00 AM-6:00 PM. The services shall be completed prior to opening at 9:00 AM each time there is a snowfall occurrence/inclement weather or as requested. Invoicing shall reflect each time the service is completed. Manual labor will be required to remove snow around restroom areas, sidewalks, etc. Areas to service at the MRNA include: ꞏ Main Road- from Mehaffey Bridge Road entrance to the main building of the Iowa Raptor Project. ꞏ Archery Shelter- Road and parking Lot. ꞏ Raptor Ridge Picnic Area- parking lot. ꞏ Falcon Shelter- Parking lot. ꞏ Social Center- Road, parking lot, entrance access and deck. ꞏ Flushable Restroom- parking lot, restroom entrance area. ꞏ Road off flushable restrooms- road and parking lot. ꞏ Hawk Shelter- Parking lot. ꞏ Iowa Raptor Project Parking Lot- parking lot and walkway around gate to IRP. ꞏ Iowa Raptor Project area - All walkways, around building, enclosure doors, and entrance accesses.
