Specifications include, but are not limited to: Remove snow from parking lots and driveways at the following sites: Washington Elementary, Atlantic Middle School/Schuler Elementary, Atlantic High School, Bus Barn, and the Achievement Center. Snow Removal Guidelines: 1. Any snow occurrence that is to a plowable level regardless of the time of day or night or day of the week should be removed. 2. All snow shall be plowed in an area per requested by the district having good communication between contractor and maintenance director. 3. If possible, all parking lots will be cleaned by 6:00 a.m. 4. All fire hydrants must be kept free from snow and easily accessible in case of emergencies. 5. Contractor shall be responsible for damage to the property caused by snow removal operations including, but not limited to, buildings, curbs, parking blocks, islands, sidewalks, light poles, signs, landscaping , paving or striping of the property or equipment used in connection therewith. 6. Contractor agrees to contact the maintenance director if for some reason the entire property cannot be completely plowed within four (4) hours after snow or ice has stopped falling. 7. Maintenance crew will evaluate the quality of snow removal a minimum of two (2) times each season.
