- Vendor shall provide snow removal services to all parking lot areas, driveways and access road connecting to city streets. Vendor shall also provide snow removal services for all city sidewalks on Grand Avenue and Ingersoll Avenue, and sidewalks/stairs located on the property. - Sand and/or ice melt must be applied to parking lot areas, driveways, access road and all sidewalks and stairs when icy or slippery conditions exist, or freezing moisture continues to fall. - Snowplows must be dispatched at any time there is an accumulation of sleet freezing rain or two (2) inches of snow, or upon Lottery request if more frequent service is desired. - The Vendor shall have services available on a 24-hour basis. - Snow must be removed from all areas as per City Ordinance. - Equipment with steel tracks, or any other equipment that would damage or cause later damage to parking lots, shall not be used. - Snow must be removed from all areas before 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday, except state holidays. Additional heavy snow accumulations must be removed throughout the day. - Any snow accumulation of 2 or more on Saturday and Sunday must be removed along the west side of the building before 10:30 AM, allowing weekend employee access for 4 vehicles. Additional heavy snow accumulations must be removed throughout the day. - Snow removal will be performed only after accumulation reaches two (2) inches. This also applies to any additional accumulation after the first removal. - During winters with excessive snowfall accumulation, the Lottery may request the snow be removed from the parking lot areas. Vendor shall be capable of hauling the snow off the property upon request by the Lottery. - Damage to any property during removal shall be the responsibility of the contractor.
