Specifications include, but are not limited to: Assistance with snow removal operations. This service is for hauling snow from the downtown area and other areas as directed. Tandem axle dump trucks are required to be used for this service. When notified that service is required, Hauling Contractors shall place machinery in operation from approximately 9:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. There may be instances where trucks are asked to work later than 8:00 a.m. Loading of the trucks shall be performed by City forces utilizing a snow loader, snow blower, or end loader. Contractors shall deposit the snow on the old Public Works site south of River Drive in the area south of the railroad tracks, west of Marquette Street as directed by a Street Maintenance Division representative.
