The purpose of this contract is to enable JCS in the Second Judicial District to hire a Contractor to provide evidence-based programming in all areas of the Second Judicial District. The Skills for Success program has been contracted by JCS for the past six years. This program’s purpose is to assist Clients in identifying the behaviors that put them at risk of involvement with JCS and how to enhance personal adjustment. This includes helping Clients transition into productive adulthood and helping to prevent or reduce criminal charges, out-of-home placement, and recidivism. On average, one Skills for Success class has been held per month. In FY24, the program served 71 clients, with an average of six clients served per month, and in FY25, the program served 34 clients, with an average of four clients served per month.
