Scope of the Work Iowa State University is requesting bids for a skid loader for the Digital Ag Innovations Lab. ISU is asking for pricing of a tracked unit. The unit shall be a new, current model, under standard production by the manufacturer and be furnished complete with standard equipment and accessories as listed in the manufacture’s printed literature, plus the items below. All equipment and options must be factory installed, if available. A company can bid multiple machines for evaluation. 2.2 General Requirements Engine Minimum Net Horsepower approximately 100 Hp Turbocharged Diesel engine meeting interim Tier 4 emission standards 12-volt battery 12-volt electrical system w/ min. 120 amp alternator and 12-volt starter Engine block heater/cold weather starting kit 110 volt Drive Train Electric over hydraulic transmission, Two speed: low and high Parking brake w/ warning “brake on” Tracks Steel Reenforced Tracks Anti Vibration track suspension to improve ride quality over uneven terrain Hydraulics Pressure Compensated Load Sensing hydraulic system not “open center hydraulic system” Have a minimum hydraulic flow of 43 gallons per min Hydraulic system pressure 3500 psi at coupler Hydraulic oil level sight gauge Variable flow auxiliary hydraulics to operate attachments Auxiliary hydraulics shall be controlled by operator switch, including high flow. Auxiliary hydraulics circuit with front mounted couplers, including case drain and electrical connections Heavy duty flat faced quick disconnect couplers with integrated pressure release that are compatible with currently owned ISU attachments.
