Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of this project includes three major areas enforcement for the contracted security services. Each of these four line items may have separate pricing included with the proposal and may be awarded collectively or individually. 1. General downtown Davenport area - evening/overnight Random enforcement in the following areas from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. a. Parking Ramps (drive thru) b. Parking Ramps (stairwells) c. Sky Walk between MidAmerican and River Center d. Security firm will lock and secure the SkyBridge on a nightly basis 2. Ground Transportation Center (GTC) a. Random enforcement times from the hours of 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday b. Contact 911 for illegal behavior and/or if emergency arises or requested to do so by City representative” c. Request patrons leave facility after particular loitering time limits are met, i.e. 30 minutes at the GTC d. Security firm will lock and secure the Ground Transportation Center after shift Monday-Saturday at 5:00pm including a sweep of hallways, entryways and restrooms. e. During down times while performing security duties, walk perimeter of buildings for any light property cleanup, check restrooms for individual’s loitering or illegal activity, etc. 3. Main Library (Downtown Davenport) – services include: a. Patrolling of the exterior of the building and designated library parking lot. b. Patrolling of the interior of the building. c. Opening and closing the building if time of day requires. d. Appropriate enforcement of library behavior policy. e. Knowledge of library evacuation and emergency procedures. f. Emptying of outside library book drops if time of day requires. g. Straightening up as they patrol, e.g. tucking chairs under tables h. Current schedule is 32 hrs./week, alternating weekly schedule, but would be dependent on hourly charge and what budget allows.
