Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the intent of the Agreement that the Contractor will provide an optimum amount and type of equipment to perform the entire snow removal operation for each cul-de-sac zone in a timely manner. In cul-de-sac zones, the Contractor will be responsible for plowing both the entire width of the local street from the adjacent intersection leading into the cul-de-sac and the bulb of the cul-de-sac. The goal will be to have the respective cul-de-sac zones fully plowed within 6-8 hours after operations are initiated. During heavy snowfalls (9.1+ inches or more) this timeframe may need to be extended as the Contractor may need to utilize additional types of equipment to assist in clearing snow.
