The existing restroom/shower building is a modular prefabricated concrete structure. The propsed work will improve the buildings structure, refresh its amenities, lengthen its service life, and reduce maintenance and repairs currently performed by park staff. Work includes the addition of a standing seam metal roof, removal and replacement of construction joints and sealants throughout the building, new painted surfaces both interior and exterior, new resinous anti-slip flooring throughout, floor slab modifications to improve drainage in shower stalls, new electrical timers, lighting, and exhaust fans, repair and replacement of faulty or damaged restroom fixtures, dispensers and partitions, and new outdoor sand “pre-rinse” shower tower station.
