Specifications include, but are not limited to: Services from a Qualified Respondent to complete 5 acres of food plot on the Rasmussen IHAP site in Audubon County, Iowa; Contractor must establish 5.0 acres of sorghum in the food plot area marked on Attachment A. • Apply 75 lbs per acre of Urea along with preemergent herbicide to control weed competition. • Post emergence herbicide may also be necessary. DNR Project Manager approval must be obtained prior to any herbicide spraying. • Plant seed (grain drill or planter) at a rate of 8 lbs per acre. Herbicides must be applied by a Contractor holding an Iowa Commercial Pesticide Applicators License issued by the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) Pesticide Bureau.
