Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Processor must be a microprocessor‐based unit capable of gathering data from all connected sensors, processing and storing the data, and transmitting the data to a server, when polled, or on an auto reporting basis. Memory for the programming and data storage must be non‐volatile. A card cage or other modular layout must provide the data bus for the microprocessor, and individual components must be replaceable to facilitate maintenance and repairs. Must be rugged and suitable for the roadside environment. Must provide stable operation over a temperature range of –40° Fahrenheit (F) to 130°F, unaffected by humidity. Operating at 115 VAC at approximately 100‐Watts maximum continuous power. Primary power source will be fused at 15A and have voltage and lightning protection. Provide sufficient battery backup power to retain system memory in case of power outages of 48 hours minimum.
