Specifications include, but are not limited to: General Operation: 3.1.1. Solution must provide a clean, easy-to-use user interface for asset management, upload, access controls, metadata editing, etc. over the internet. 3.1.2. Solution must provide an assisted deposit interface with customizable curation checks including the option for metadata only records. 3.1.3. Solution must support persistent identifiers such as ORCID, FundRef, and DOIs and linked data. 3.1.4. Solution must provide a clean, easy-to-use user interface for searching, downloading, and browsing items and collections over the internet. 3.1.5. Solution must provide public file previews for various digital file types such as: documents, spreadsheets, audio, video, etc. 3.1.6. Solution must provide options for showcasing and querying collections and items, regardless of their position in a hierarchy. 3.1.7. Solution must be storage agnostic, capable of working with hosted cloud storage services (ex. Amazon AWS) and the University’s Large Scale Storage system using the Open Stack Swift API (Application Program Interface). 3.1.8. Solution must have the ability to support different copyright and license options including "out-ofthe-box" options such as Creative Commons, Expat (MIT) License, GNU General Public License v. 3., as well as additional options specified by the Library.
