Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Provide outreach and support for families regardless of the learner’s age or disability. This outreach and support needs to be capable of providing information on a wide variety of topics including, but not limited to, secondary transition and dispute resolution. 2) Provide Training options for families and other interested parties using online or face-to-face formats. 3) Have materials available and have an internet presence for the dissemination of information to families and other interested parties across the State related to learners with disabilities. It is important for the Vendor to have a trusting relationship with families across the State whose children have disabilities. 4) Provide training utilizing the RESPECT (Respecting Everyone’s Strengths by Peace building, Empathizing, Communicating and Trust building) curriculum to train families, educators and other interested parties in the area of dispute resolution.
