The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to remove graffiti and re-paint identified areas of the flood wall, or other surfaces if needed, as requested by the City of Cedar Rapids. The City’s Project Manager will provide the location to the Contractor with visual representation of the work to be completed. Work shall include, but not be limited to, the following as necessary: 2.1 Dry brush graffiti with stiff bristle brushes to remove loose paint; 2.2 Mask and apply one (1) coat of primer (PrepRite ProBlock or equivalent) on the identified area(s); 2.3 Apply two (2) coats of self-cleaning acrylic masonry coating (LOXON or equivalent) on identified area(s); 2.4 Finish coat color shall be matched as close as possible to existing color. 2.5 Visual evidence that work has been completed in accordance with above requirements shall be submitted to the City’s Project Manager by the deadline agreed upon by both parties.
