Remove all existing plants—except for any living trees—from the landscape beds inside the Northwest baseball and softball field facility. 4.1 Landscape Bed Cleanup There are a large number of Japanese fountain grasses and other plants that shall be dug out and removed. The beds shall be completely cleared of all existing material, leaving only living trees. Once the plants and roots have been fully removed to prevent regrowth, the area shall be backfilled with screened soil (no rock) to create a clean surface for sod installation. 4.2 Sod Sod shall be laid and Bidder shall maintain it with watering and starter fertilization until it’s established. If the beds and sod are completed by the end of this calendar year, Bidder shall water the sod in the spring to ensure proper establishment.
