Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Patching and painting of interior surfaces to include all previously painted plaster, gypsum board, concrete and block walls and ceilings, concrete beams and columns, convector covers, grilles, metal covers, doors and frames, handrails and spindles and previously painted wood surfaces. NO UNPAINTED CONCRETE IS TO BE PAINTED UNLESS SPECIFIED. b. Patch and repair existing surfaces that require paint, including filling of gouges, holes and other damage. Patch and paint are to extend at lease (1) inch below area where base was removed from wall (maximum of three (3) inches from subfloor). Gouges, holes and other damage that is ¼” deep or less and either 6” long or less (ex.: scratch/gouge) or has an area of 2” square or less shall be patched as part of this contract. Contractor to provide a unit price for plaster/drywall repair and patching above these averages. Contractor to notify Owner if gouges, holes or other damage is found that is deeper and/or larger than these measurements, or if areas of excessive repairs are found.
