The individual buildings within the Center were completed as follows: C. Y. Stephens Auditorium Completed 1969; seating capacity: 2,750. Home of the Center’s Performing Arts Series, which includes theatre, dance, classical music, performing arts events, contemporary events, etc. James H. Hilton Coliseum Completed 1971; seating capacity: 15,104. Entertainment events included NCAA basketball games, wrestling and gymnastics meets, volleyball matches, concerts, family shows, etc. It is also used by the university for commencements and other large indoor events. J. W. Fisher Theatre Completed 1974; seating capacity: 450 seats. This performance space is utilized for a variety of student performing arts and theatre productions, dance groups, choral, etc. Small professional ensembles also perform in this setting. Carl H.
