Request for bids will be received by the Iowa Department of Corrections – 8th District located at 245 Osage Drive, Ottumwa, IA 52501 for a Kitchen Equipment Service Agreement. The specifications for the contract are as follows: • Coolers / Freezers / Ovens • Clean and flush all condensing and evaporator coils • Clean and flush condensate drains for evaporator coils • Clean and inspect fans • Visually inspect and tighten electrical connections • Visually inspect unit for damage or leaks • Inspect gaskets on doors to make sure all seals are in good working order • Test operation of refrigeration equipment • Inspect oven and stove top equipment for operation and clean flame sensors and burners as required • Inspect piping for signs of leaks. • Check operation of door switches and safety devices. • Report on any conditions and recommendations to Building director • Perform on a quarterly basis.
