Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Universities request professional services to assist primarily with the hardware installation, labeling, and configuration of purchased equipment. This service can be a mixture of on-site and off-site configuration. This option will be exercised primarily for deployments of full system racks. Services required: Installation/racking of servers Installation and configuration of network switches Installation of power distribution units (PDUs) and power cables Installation of network cables for servers Installation of all inter rack cabling Labeling of all servers, network cables, switches, power cables, and PDUs Latest firmware installed on servers including input/output (IO) cards, disks, and any other device requiring firmware update Supplier should provide estimate of time needed to physically deploy system on-site. Supplier will need to provide final testing and validation of cabling and system components once deployed on-site. Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) configured to the Universities' specifications. Preboot eXecution Environment (PXE) as first boot choice.
