2.1 Contractor shall prepare surfaces as needed (e.g., cleaning, patching all holes, scratches and dings, caulk cracks in walls and windows, sanding, etc.) and in accordance with paint manufacturer’s recommendations to ensure final results will be covered under warranty. 2.2 Paint colors to be chosen by Owner. 2.3 Mask and apply 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Duration eggshell paint (or equal), colors to be determined, to all walls as indicated: all offices, inside/outside cubicle spaces, conference rooms, closets, service areas, file/print rooms, kitchens/breakrooms, restrooms, stairwells, entryways, hallways, reception area, and gym per attached plans and in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations. 2.4 Prep (sand, clean, spot-prime, caulk, mask) and apply Sherwin-Williams Pro Industrial DTM paint (SW 6258 Tricorn Black) to elevator doors, frames, and all metal door frames and sidelights, both interior and exterior. 2.5 The work site is a fully functional workplace. Contractor shall coordinate with the City’s project manager to minimize disruption. Monitoring and maintaining acceptable noise levels is required at all times. 2.6 The contractor shall provide availability in advance and coordinate with the City’s project manager for painting to coincide with the completion of other phases of the project. 2.7 The Contractor shall be responsible for repairing any damage caused during the painting process. This includes, but is not limited to, drywall repair and paint touch-ups. All repairs must restore affected surfaces to their original condition or better.
