The Iowa DOT seeks a qualified Responder that has the capability, experience, and resources required to provide, operate, and maintain Intelligent Work Zone (IWZ) Systems to support projects that impact traffic on Interstates, U.S. and State highways in Iowa and sometimes neighboring states. These systems will be provided through this stand-alone IWZ Services contract, independent of the highway construction project contracts. However, the successful Responder shall cooperate, as detailed herein, with all other roadway contractors and sub-contractors, as well as the Iowa DOT (to include district and central office staff as required) and its partners, including the ITS Maintenance Vendor, ATMS Software Vendor, the IWZ Consultant, and the Traffic Management Center (TMC).
