Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.2.1Provide technology education opportunities to secondary students, as well as opportunities for students and faculties at these institutions, to secure broad-based information technology certification, especially in computation skills. Proposer must demonstrate thatsuch certification needs align with national standards for information technologycertification.3.2.2 Provide instruction at secondary schools and other appropriate educational venues toaccess high school-age learners and their faculty on skills and competencies that areessential for the workplace, particularly those that are requested by Iowa’s employers,notably in the area of computation skills. Evidence of alignment with the essential competencies and skills sought by Iowa employers must be provided.3.2.3. Provide staffing to work with the IT Program Project Manager who will coordinate the project on behalf of the Council.3.2.4Include the following components –(a) A research-based curriculum.(b) Online access to the curriculum.
