The transmitters shall be type accepted or (type notified) with the FCC for the appropriate operating power. 4.4.2 The transmitters shall be of modular construction consisting of discrete functional cabinets. The cabinets shall be assembled, wired and tested in the manufacturer's plant to minimize assembly required during installation. Interconnection of transmitter cabinets shall be via factory fabricated cables and cable harnesses with factory installed plugs, connectors and terminations. 4.4.3 For easy identification during maintenance, all transmitter wiring shall have wire numbers at each termination. 4.4.4 The basic transmitter shall consist of the following modules: 4.4.4.1 Transmitter system control cabinet. 4.4.4.2 Heat exchanger system with isolated cooling coils, variable speed redundant pumps and fans (if required) 4.4.4.3 Calibrated power measurement system including calibrated RF directional couplers in all appropriate test locations. 4.4.4.4 Complete RF system, including low pass filters, appropriate mask filter and all interconnecting RF transmission lines, combiner, reject load(s) and test load.
