Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task 1: Lauer West Sunflower Food Plot Spring 2023: 2.0 Acres Description: Contractor must establish 3 acres of sorghum food plots in the area marked in Attachment A following these steps: • Step 1 - Disk a minimum of three passes to prepare seedbed. • Step 2 - Fertilize with 19-19-19 at a rate of 80 pounds per acre and incorporate by tilling. • Step 3 - Plant (drill, row plant, broadcast) sorghum at a rate of 8 pounds per acre. Task 3. Mowing EICF Sunflower Food Plot Summer 2023: 2.0 acres Description: Contractor must mow sunflower food plot lower than 6 inches leaving a 6-foot width of sunflowers standing from east to west in the middle of the plot in the area marked in Attachment A. Task 4: Seed Cover Crop on EICF Sunflower food plot Summer 2023: 2.0 acres Description: Contractor must broadcast seed and light disk cover crop mix including 2 pounds rape, 3 pounds turnip, 5 pounds groundhog radish, and 2 pounds kale per acre on mowed sunflowers in the area marked in Attachment A.
