Specifications include, but are not limited to: Rehabilitation of Fleur Drive over Raccoon River Bridge (FHWA No. 003910). Professional services under this RFP include performing a Structural Evaluation to investigate current condition, document the progression of deterioration since past repairs, development of a detailed load rating and alternatives analysis to alter controlling end spans, reconfigure deck geometry to accommodate at least one 12-foot-wide shared-use trail, and provide plans and specifications for the bridge rehabilitation project. Iowa Department of Transportation funding is expected to be used for construction with a preliminary budget of $3,500,000 and a target Iowa DOT letting Fall/Winter 2024.
