The USDA MWA has a requirement for Fire Alarm Monitoring Simplex Computers Upgrade at the National Centers for Animal Health (NCAH) Ames, Iowa
Background:
The current, original NCAH campus fire alarm computer monitoring system located in the USDA NCAH Building 20 command center; rooms 1013 and 1015 are in need of repairs. Due to the age of the fire alarm computer monitoring system(2006), the replacement parts for these units are no longer available. To improve both fire alarm system functionality and to allow for continued full operation, it has been determined that replacement of the existing fire alarm computer monitoring system is required.
All Simplex Truesite Workstation’s computer equipment and associated Simplex devices and software, listed in this Statement of Work will be located on the isolated NCAH Building Automation Network and DOES NOT communicate to the USDA Enterprise Network.
All simplex brand parts or equal.
Scope:
The general requirement of this project is to replace the existing fire alarm monitoring computers in the building 20 command center with new Simplex TSWs (Truesite Workstations). Contractor shall provide the following Simplex part numbers or equal.
- Simplex part number 4190-7026, TSW Desktop I7 PC Windows 10 for each room. This shall include the USDA TSW Software upgrade for each fire alarm monitoring computer.
- Simplex part number 4190-8901, 4190 Series Aftermarket Addition for each computer station.
- Simplex part number 4190-8605, TSW Aftermarket Software for each computer station.
- Simplex part number 4190-5082, TSW Feature Upgrade for each computer station.
Simplex part number 4190-5082, TSW 1-year maintenance (Professional Services) for each computer station
