Suppliers are requested to submit proposals for the design, fabrication, and delivery of (36) identical variable-speed axivane fan/direct drive motor assemblies and speed control equipment capable of bidirectional axial flow (both forward and reverse modes) as specified herein for a laboratory application. Installation services are not required as part of this project; however, standard documentation necessary for the installation, setup, and operation of the equipment is required. Fans: Each of the 36 fans shall be capable of providing the desired flowrate in three different modes of operation, namely, Mode 1, Mode 2, and Mode 3 as follows: 2,021 cfm of air at a specific weight of 0.075 lbs/ft3 with a circuit head loss (external static head) of 6.3 inches of water in Reverse mode of operation. (Mode 1) 1,749 cfm of air at a specific weight of 0.075 lbs/ft3 with a circuit head loss (external static head) of 6.6 inches of water in Forward mode of operation. (Mode 2) 3,287 cfm of air at a specific weight of 0.075 lbs/ft3 with a circuit head loss (external static head) of 3.0 inches of water in both Forward and Reverse modes of operation. (Mode3)
