The selected fabricator will be responsible for the complete development and deployment of the prefabricated housing unit, including but not limited to: 4.1.1 Design and Engineering: Providing detailed architectural and engineering plans for the 4- bedrooms, 2-bathroom unit, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes, including ADA standards for one bathroom. 4.1.2 Fabrication: Manufacturing the housing unit in a controlled environment, ensuring highquality construction and adherence to all specified materials and finishes. 4.1.3 Foundation Preparation: Perform all necessary site work, excavation, and construction of the foundation suitable for the prefabricated unit, including engineering and permitting. 4.1.4 Transportation: Safely transporting the prefabricated unit components from the fabrication facility to the designated site. 4.1.5 Installation & Assembly: Assembling and installing the housing unit on the prepared foundation, ensuring structural integrity and weather-tightness. 4.1.6 Utility Hook-Ups: Connecting all necessary utilities (water, sewer/septic, electrical, natural gas/propane if applicable) from the unit to the property’s service connections. 4.1.7 Exterior & Interior Finishes: Completing all specified exterior and interior carpentry, finishes, and installations as detailed in this RFP. 4.1.8 Permitting & Inspections: Obtaining all necessary building permits and coordinating all required inspections throughout the project lifecycle. 4.1.9 Final Commissioning: Ensuring all systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) are fully functional and tested, and the home is ready for occupancy.
