The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) is seeking a contractor to provide surface preparation and maintenance coating (re-painting) of various exterior steel components (columns, cross beams, canopy ceilings, canopy supports, benches etc.) located at its 620 Cherry Street transit hub facility. Contractors should have the capacity to comply with industry standards as published by the SSPC and NACE International. DART may award all or part of the bid, with partial awards contracted at different times to align with the budget. As an independent contractor, the Contractor shall, at its sole cost and expense, provide all labor, materials, equipment including lifts, tools, supplies and incidentals necessary to perform this Contract in the manner and to the full extent as set forth in the Contract documents. The cost of the paint and supplies must be included in your total cost of each section making it all inclusive.
