Specifications include, but are not limited to: Core Correctional Practices Training. 3.1.1 Bidder must facilitate two (2) separate five (5) day in‐person sessions held onsite at Iowa Department of corrections Central Iowa in Des Moines, Iowa. Each session will have a maximum of twelve (12) possible participants. The two (2) five (5) day Training of Trainers Core Correction Practices sessions must be facilitated on or before June 30, 2019. 3.1.2 Bidder must provide two (2) separate coaching trainings to each of the twelve (12) session participants. Participants will learn how to effectively coach other employees on Core Correction Practices (CCP) principles and techniques. 3.1.3 Session discussion topics must include: 3.1.3.1 A brief description of the principles of effective intervention. 3.1.3.2 An overview of the core correctional practices (relationships skills, effective use of reinforcement, effective use of disapproval, effective use of authority, prosocial modeling, cognitive restructuring, social skills training and problem solving skills). 3.1.3.3 Practice of each of the core correctional practices occurs and implementation strategies. 3.1.3.4 Principles of an effective behavior management system emphasized.
