Contractor Responsibilities; Removal of antennas, antenna mounts, and cabling are the responsibility of the contractor. The local DOT garage staff will safely crush and dispose of the tower and accessories as scrap metal. Tower removal may be completed in single sections or multiple sections but must be broken into single twenty-foot sections after tower is on the ground. The contractor must remove the tower with the assistance of a crane. The contractor is responsible for costs for crane rental or third-party contractors. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all permits from State, County or City. The contractor is responsible to restore any disturbance of sod, soil, gravel, driveway or building structure to original condition. Any cost for restoration is the responsibility of the contractor.
