2.1 Quality menu suitable to CRPL patrons and downtown customers. Items could include but not be limited to the following: hot and cold beverages, baked goods, packaged snack items, grab and go items, and a selection of low-preparation food choices (salads, sandwiches, soups). 2.2 General bussing, trash removal, and cleaning of the food service area and café tables throughout the day (see item 7.0 - Floor Plans). 2.3 Additional general cautions and prohibitions: a. No cooking, frying or other types of extensive food preparation which will cause harsh or widespread odors. b. The space is not fitted with an exhaust hood or gas line. c. No food items that have a demonstratively adverse effect on CRPL’s collection. d. All beverage containers must have lids. No glass. 2.4 Service requirements and prerequisites: a. A menu with pricing and other promotional materials including signage b. With the exception of vendor improvements negotiated by CRPL and its preferred vendor, the vendor will provide any necessary equipment and fixtures. c. The vendor will provide adequate staffing for all aspects of the operation of the concession and associated business tasks. d. CRPL will provide trash service (removal at the point of the dumpster) as a part of the agreement. e. The vendor will be responsible for any cleaning supplies and services for the Café and food service area. f. The vendor will pay CRPL a fixed lease amount ($1,650 monthly) for use of the space. g. The vendor will be responsible to purchase all food, beverages and supplies; and point-of-sale equipment. h. CRPL will provide telephone and Internet access. 2.5 The vendor shall be responsible for supervision and maintenance of the Café area before, during, and after regularly scheduled business hours. 2.6 The vendor shall maintain consistent hours of operation. CRPL prefers business hours closely match those of the Library. Drive-up access to the café shall be available before or after CRPL business hours. 2.7 The vendor will deal in good faith with regard to changes in products, pricing and services.
