The general nature of the work on which bids are requested is: The City is initiating a significant renovation of approximately 23,400 square feet of the existing city hall building located at 1225 6th Avenue, a facility built in 2006. This project is primarily focused on a strategic reorganization of departmental services to enhance both public accessibility and the safety of the employees. The key component of this renovation involves relocating Community Development Department (Planning & Building Divisions) and the IT Department to the first floor. Work includes finish enhancement with wall and door relocations which will require a minimum of two sequenced phases including starting work with first floor area and then transitioning work to second floor once first floor is complete, accepted and occupants are moved.
