Description

Through this RFP, the Heart of Iowa Regional Transit Agency (HIRTA) seeks to procure a mobility on demand (MOD) platform for the Health Connector project (https://www.transithealthconnector.org/ ), funded by the Complete Trip- ITS4US program. The MOD platform will be used to manage trips requested in advance or on-demand for medical needs. HIRTA is also planning to provide after-hours services through Health Connector.
This platform will provide required tools to Dallas County residents, HIRTA, and HIRTA’s healthcare partners to schedule and manage all healthcare-focused trips with a strong focus on providing same day and on-demand services. Also, the project requires the MOD vendor to support the development of two open-source middleware products (to be developed by a HIRTA partner): 1) Interface between MOD vendor and a generic Medicaid brokerage platform; and 2) Interface between MOD vendor and a generic Electronic Health Record (EHR) Software.
