Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Indiana State Library is looking for a commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) solution for a resource sharing system which provides a single seamless catalog for Indiana, giving patrons the ability to search across all participating libraries in the state, that is completely library system neutral; with the ability for each library to configure their appropriate availability criteria independently, supports the creation of requesting tiers based upon item availability, geography and the volume of requests. The system needs to provide live, up-to-date circulation information and result in a very high fill rate since patrons are only allowed to submit requests for items that are available.
