In accordance with Indiana statute, including IC 5-22-9, the Indiana Department of Administration
(IDOA), acting on behalf of the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA), requires a vendor to
create, prepare, maintain, administer, and score computer-based and paper-based national and state
specific professional licensing examinations for cosmetologists and barbers, beauty culture
instructors, electrologists, estheticians, and manicurists for and under the supervision of the State
Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners.
