Specifications include, but are not limited to: General Job Duties - Security Officers Maintain a security presence to ensure the safety of the employees, public, and property. Monitor building and premises. Enforce the building safety rules and regulations. Notify the appropriate individuals and document all events of vandalism, theft, or any safety incident. Other duties as assigned. Specific Duties The Officer should have a communication device reachable at all times. This number will be given to Permits Triage and the cashiers so he/she is accessible. Officer must show up on time and wear a full law enforcement uniform while on duty. Officer must maintain a courteous and professional demeanor, remaining attentive at all times to employees and public. Officer must notify Permits Triage and the cashiers in the event of any breaks or absence. Security will be responsible for all visitor registration (including hearings), notification to appropriate staff member, and if needed escorting visitor(s) to offices areas. Floor plan and directory will be provided. Security will enforce posted handicapped parking
