Anticipated Professional Services: The professional services REQUIRED may consist of the various types of inspection services which will be determined during Project Scoping; however, the services are anticipated to include, but not limited to: • Resident Inspection – monitor performance of the contractor on a daily basis. RESPONDENT shall have direct experience with the type of construction for the project which includes but not limited to the repair/rehabilitation/replacement of existing Portland cement and HMA roadway pavement, pavement removal, full and partial depth patching, subgrade and base treatments, Portland cement and HMA paving, curb and gutter repair/replacement, installation/repair of highway appurtenances, pavement markings, and Maintenance of Traffic. • Limited Material Testing (Quality Assurance) • Review of Construction Documentation including Bid Documents, Specifications, Approved Shop Drawings, Addendums, Requests for Information and other project documentation relative to the construction Indianapolis Airport Authority INSPECTION AND MATERIAL TESTING Rehabilitation Airport Roads and Lots - 2024 Due: January 9, 2025 Page 11 of 15 • Review pay applications for verification of quantities, other Work performed, and any Change Order work performed. • Schedule and lead all inspection activities for the project • If necessary review and/or recommend alternative approaches for changed conditions Expected Deliverables: Deliverables will be defined during Project Scoping and are anticipated to include, but not limited to: • Resident Inspector’s field report on daily basis • Provide Quality Assurance (QA) and Materials Testing (as needed) • Monitor and inspect daily construction activities to follow construction plans and specification standards. • Provide IAA with daily construction records and coordinate as-builts plans post construction. • Schedule and lead final construction inspection and prepare Final Certification documents.
