Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Clarksville's Redevelopment Department is hereby accepting proposals from qualified professionals to create a Master Plan focusing on the redevelopment and infill development of a 600-acre study area. The study area has served as a retail and restaurant hub for Southern Indiana and Louisville for decades. Interested firms and consultants should have significant expertise and abilities in mixed-use redevelopment, adaptive re-use, and urban resiliency planning. Firms should also have a record of successful promotion of mixed-income neighborhoods and developments. It is imperative that the study focus on a strategy to transition this predominantly commercial corridor into one which can effectively support residential development within the area and meet a wide range of citizens' needs.
