The CTE Building Project consists of the construction and equipping of a new Career and Technical Education Building on property owned or controlled by SACS and is located 13500 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46814, directly west of the existing Covington Elementary School. Additional information regarding the project includes: a. Design Team: The Owner is currently in the selection process for the architectural firm. b. Contractual Requirements: The Respondent chosen by SACS to provide the CMc Services (the “CMc”) shall provide pre-construction and construction services consistent with a modified AIA Document A133-2019, Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Construction Manager as Constructor where the basis of payment is the Cost of the Work Plus a Fee with a Guaranteed Maximum Price attached to this RFP as Exhibit D and Exhibit E (collectively, the “CMc Contract”). c. Phasing: The CTE Building Project will be constructed in phases as necessary. The CMc will help determine the best overall strategy for phases, staging and sequencing in an effort to hit target occupancy date for August 2027.
